It never ceases to amaze me of the un-dying love & compassion that God has for his children. After all, he is the Father of a new mankind. Someone whom is annointed with his spirit & destined for greatness. Who is this u may ask?....It is you & i of course!
You see, God has always planned ahead for you & i to walk & talk with him just like he did with all the greats from the O/T. But as Jesus clearly revealed thru his actions a new & better covanant that could not be broken. So that you & i can walk in the realms that he(JESUS) does....You see the term DEEP CALLS TO THE DEEP from psalms too me quite simply means that God's heart will call(or connect) unto your heart in a way that is uncomprehensible to the human mind.
It's that deep inner awareness that can only come after God ignites your heart....What do i mean ignite? For example, Just like a candle on a table in a room full of darkness, when it is lit only then it is able to reveal it's true purpose of shining or radiating light in that room. God's deep call to you will ignite your heart(Candle) & only then will your heart radiate a true ligh which is LOVE.
King David from the O/T had this same love & relationship that God so desires with you & i today. God even revealed to us his deep sence of gratitude, by acknowleding that David had a heart that wanted to connect with his own. I guess metaphoricaly you could say that God being the true light source(Candle) will pass on the flame of life(Jesus/Holy Spirit) to ignite your candle(heart) so that you can reflect the same light as he does.
Isn't that just awesome! That you & i can walk & talk & develop a real intimate relationship with God. Tell me! How many other God's do you know who want this same relationship with his worshipers or people?
